Would You Believe That This Strange Looking Creature Is Actually A Yam

This is not the first time this is happening in this part of the world. A farmer would plant a normal yam seedling during cultivation and during the harvest, he would be seeing very scary looking things as a product of his hardwork.
And he would not be able to sell it because nobody would agree to buying this or eating it even!!!
Many people have different things to say but the question is, what could really be the cause of this?

Is there really an explanation for this?
Could there be a reason why some agricultural products are sometimes this strange?
If given this type of yam , would you agree to eat it?
Do you believe God is actually trying to talk to us through this way?
